Lá Mara, Marine Day was held in Páirc na Mara, Cill Chiaráin, Connemara, organised by Údarás na Gaeltachta it covered all sectors and companies, BIM provided information to schools, fishermen and industry re training and grant aid, the universities and GRETB provided information on education and careers.
The event was very informative and gave a better idea of what is happening in the Seaweed industry and all the sectors including the Marine Institute, Connemara Shellfish Coop, Food products and Cosmetics.
